This is Yehiel, the “gabbe” in Rabbi Koyfmansky’s “shil”. The watercolor was made by Valentin Bukovinets from Nefteyugansk, based on my photo, released at “Three Walks Through Czernowitz – Ten Years Ago Today!”; see more “Czernowitz Watercolors by Valentin Bukovinets”! Thank you, Valentin, for your creative artwork!

This is a great watercolor! Today Yehiel can be found in the new Shul of the Rabbi of Chernivtsy Menachem Glisnshtain, located at Raise. 12. The new building houses a Shul, rooms for cultural and educational activities, a mikve and congregational offices. There are minyanim for prayers both in the morning and evening [mincha and maariv]. I will post some pictures of the Shul and one I took of Yehiel last month.
Sorry, in case anyone is visiting, I put in the wrong address for the new Shul! It is Mykola Sadovs’kyy Str 11.
