1. I think all 4 must be on Ringplatz. Too much free parking space for Hauptstrasse.

   • Only the photograph of the building is number 31 Hauptstrasse.
     If you face the Herrengasse the building screen is on the left corner
     Ringplatz – Herrengasse,
     The three photographs of the building-screen are proof that whoever made
     or had the screen made, appreciates the old photographs of Czernowitz
     as it used to be and by extension the old Czernowitz.
     Both the Falikman store and the Madfes store are depicted.
     Notice also how clean the streets are.

3. Yes Mimi, of course you are right, No 31 can be seen on Yandex too on Hauptstrasse.
   I still mistakenly had in mind a less wide Hauptstrasse, probably because of the streetcar line that was in my memory.
   Waiting for the promised recent pictures.
   Was the Bianovici store also on the pictures?

4. My mother, who left Czernowitz at the age of three months, told me they lived on “Main Street”. So every time I see a picture of Hauptstrasse, I wonder could this be the building?
