The photo comes from Rachel Leigh the daughter of Jacob Drucker – creator of the famed list of Mogilev burials.

Jacob Drucker was responsible for burying the dead at the Mogilev labor camp in Transnistria. He courageously organized the creation of a burial list and map to the cemetery, with both names and villages of origin in Bukovina and Bessarabia. Thanks to his efforts, most of the dead will not be forgotten. The documents in his possession after the war were refused by Yad Vashem, which showed little interest. Let’s pay homage to this great and courageous individual, Mr. Jacob Drucker, so that his name will stay forever in our memories.

  1. Jerome, Sylvie, Bruce, Gadi, thank you so much for sharing these documents/photos with us. Although I knew this subject for a couple of years, some of the material was new to me. Great job, thank you once again!
