[Cz-L] Travel book contains information about Chernivtsi

The book "Jewish Heritage Travel", edited by Ruth Ellen Gruber
And published by "National Geographic" in 2007, contains 3 pages
about Czernowitz (pages 122, 123 and 124).

It recounts the history of Czernowitz, current conditions and
gives the addresses and phone numbers of "Hesed Shushana",
The Jewish community center and Rabbi Kofmanski.

I do not know how accurate the account is. For instance,
according to the book the current Jewish population of Chernivtsi
Is 1500, last year we were told in Chernivtsi that
the Jewish population numbers 3000.
