Hi Peter,
Here's the info I have been able to find on the surnames:

Kinsbrunner, Kinzbruner: Found in Kolomyya, Galicia, Zloczow and in
Bukowina. It is derived from the German for children well or if spelled Kien for pine
well (or fountain) in both instances an assigned or artificial name.

Scholl: From the German scholle meaning plaice; (ice) floe; clod (of earth).
If spelled with an umlaut o, it has a different meaning from the root name
Schell meaning bell, both artificial surnames.

Rubel:German for rouble. Widely found in Galicia and Bukovina. Anoter
artificial or assigned surname.

All this info comes from Beider's books on Jewish surnames.

Saul Zeichner
ZEICHNER from Kolomea; STUP from Sadagura; DIVAK from Grodno; and KASHARSKY
 from Kamenka
