To my fellow Czernowitzers,
I don't know if you are aware of a video film about our hometown which was filmed by Reinhold Czarny. I am in constant contact with Mr. Czarny and as soon as he told me about this film, I asked him to let me have a copy, preferably to be run on the VCR, since I don't have (yet) DVD equipment.

I received the video a while ago and I must tell you watching it is a real experience. Of course I've received films about Czernowitz before, I even have one that was filmed during my, and my husband's trip to the Bucovina 11 years ago - but this film made by Mr. Czarny is really something special! The photography is highly professional, the voice of the young woman accompanying the photos is soft and pleasant, in short, at the same time, while offering my appreciation to Mr. Czarny, I want to tell you as well how moved I was seeing the well-known places, I even caught a glimpse of the house in which I grew up...

This is something to be shared.
