Dear group,

I am new to this group and would like to introduce myself. I've been doing genealogical research for almost 1 year, mainly in Germany, England
and USA. This is my first time researching in Eastern Europe. I am proficient in the use of computers and the Internet.
I am currently researching my mother's (Fanny Wagner Granierer) paternal and maternal families. My grandmother, Ana Granierer Sucher was
born probably in Czernowitz on 2/29/1909. My grandfather, Aron Wagner, was also probably born in Czernowitz on 3/31/1907. They married
~1925 and emigrated to Montevideo, Uruguay, where my mother and her siblings were born. Unfortunatelly, my mother already passed and
my aunt doesn't remember much, so it is a bit of a challenge for me to do the research.

I would like to get birth certificates for both of my grandparents. Has anybody gotten a birth certificate by mail from there? What is the
procedure? And how much does it cost? Can I write in English to them?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance and regards,
