Hi, Simon,
The Comenius school was on Landhausgasse (house number almost probably 7 or
9). During the Romanian years Landhausgasse was called "Strada General
MIrcescu" (I know that because my grandmother lived there at No. 13B). It
was a private school and quite expensive. I am not sure whether it was only
for "bessere Menschen" kids, but not for "impoverished". It was perhaps not
as expensive as the "Meisler Schule" (which was on the same street), or as
the "Elite Schule", on the Albertinengasse.
