Dear participants in the 2006 Czernowitz Reunion,

As you may remember, we collected more money for the expenses of the reunion
than we ended spending. The excess money amounted to $573 and is being held
by Renee Steinig in a special account.

Last summer I suggested that this money eventually go into a fund for the
clean-up of the cemetery and that if such a fund was not established by
May 1st 2007, the money be given to "Die Stimme" to be distributed to needy
"Bukowiner".

It is now May 17th and I think we should decide what to do with the money.
Participants in the 2006 Czernowitz Reunion, please suggest any worthy
causes you can think of and send them to the Cz-list.

I have no personal knowledge of the mechanism and criteria by which the WOBJ
decides who are the needy Bukowiner and how any money should be distributed
amongst them, if any of you have this information, please let us know.
