Hi Hardy and the group!

OK... I'll create a link in the Menu or Czernowitz-L Site Map called
'Travel to Czernowitz', but I'm going to have to draw the line about
aggregating all the travel related posts there. Here's the reason(s):

1. If the materials were posted to this list, they already appear or will
shortly appear in the Archives. The archive material can be sorted by
Subject, Author, Date, etc. I think the Archives serves the purpose of
making previously posted material available tolerably well.

2. There is a substantial body of material about travel to Czernowitz from
the May 2006 Reunion that I re-posted to our website. It was organized by
Mimi Taylor and appears under the heading of 'Travel' in the 2006 Reunion
Posts and Photographs' section. I will link to that in the new section.

3. The new 'Search' function should also be helpful in pointing out where
the relevant posts and materials like trip reports are.

What I will do as well is to write a paragraph or two for the new Travel
section, explaining where the Travel related materials might be found and
how to access them. I think that should bring it all together nicely.

Creating a separate Archive for Travel posts would be adding to workload
of those elves maintaining the website and before long they might grieve
their working conditions and opt to strike for higher wages. Not a good
thing!

As regards paid advertising of travel agencies, guides, hotels, etc. to
raise monies for projects like the Cemetery, an interesting idea. I don't
know what the list owner might think of it, or the group for that matter.
I personally would not want to manage such an endeavour, maybe you? Since
you wrote this to the list, let's invite the list to respond.

Finally, I would ask that those posting to the list about travel to
Czernowitz use the word 'Travel' as the first word in the subject line.
That way when folks sort on the topic all the posts will appear together.
