Hi hardy, no I do not need a medal,I have a few combat ribbons on my =
uniform and they do me fine..but...there was a song of the jewish =
partisans that had as its refrain,in yiddish, the words"mir seinen do" =
...and we are still here today. There is absolutely no reason to either =
bury our heads in the sand or to effectively let them ignore our past =
contribution to the town....and what is more our possible future =
contribution. Most importantly of all....i do not know how much the =
lubavicher does there,. But I sat in for a while with rav kofmanski in =
his little shul, and I was there at the iom hashoah remembrance at the =
entrance to the cemetery which he conducted and I saw the jews coming =
out of the woodwork...MIR SEINEN DO! And these are the people we =
need to support,by being there, by helping,and just maybe by influencing =
the local bigwigs. And here endeth the sermon. cornel

  As for now ,the official letter of Mr Kylynych as it appears on the =
Cz-L ,
calls for " interesting facts,
old photos and suggestions " . The word " Jewish "or " invitation " do =
not
appear.
   You want an official invitation ? What for ? To take part in an =
official,
festive reception , where
   Mr Kylynych will kiss you on the cheeks and award you with a medal =
and a
ribbon ?
       This is what you need ?
     You speak of old time co-existence: The Magen David at the =
Residenz.
   How can this compare to what is going on today : Take the Temple -
instead of leaving it deserted
  for absence of believers - they bring the best of movies , hold =
Schmatte
sales just to fill the place.
   Even at our High Holidays was the Temple not so full as when they
screened the latest Harry Potter flick !
      And the gravestones - instead of leaving them deserted in some
forgotten Zwinter, they place them
       on much used steps , where hundreds of people pass daily.
           This I call concern .
              What more do you need ?
