[Cz-L] Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Friedman, the Sadgora Rebbe ZZ"l

Dear Friends
I am sorry to inform you of the passing today of Rabbi Avraham Yaakov
Friedman, the Sadgora Rebbe ZZ"l, may he be a "Melitz Yosher" to
all the house of Israel.
He will be buried today Tuesday at 3:30 pm Israel time at the Nachlat
Yitzhak cemetery in Tel Aviv, Israel

Full disclosure: One of the last times I saw the Rebbe, was about 15 years
ago together with Prof. Bruce Reisch, who was
then on a Sabbatical in Israel.We were both surprised how working then with
tools of the "stone age" a manual small card index (not computerized) file
he was able to tell us about meetings his father the previous Rebbe had
some 40 years back when he visited the USA and met with some of his
Hassidim including Prof. Reisch's father.
He was a very wise man with a warm heart for all of Israel, may his memory
be a blessing to us all.
