Is this photograph taken in Czernowitz or vicinity?
The house in the background looks as if it were in the US or Canada.
The embroidered folk-costumes look beautiful, the way I remember them
from my childhood. They also used to embroider the bed linen and the
towels,
but currently even village women no longer embroider either their
clothes
or their linens.
