[Cz-L] Trip to Czernowitz in September

In September 2013 there will be my first trip to Czernowitz.

I would be grateful for some recommendation how to travel, who to address to, where to stay over night. From Heidelberg to Czernowitz it is 1600 Kilometers - manageable by car privately. Is it better to go by plane or coach?
