Indeed, very sad news. Edith Rones-Hubermann was our neighbor (Martinowicz
Gasse). Her parents' apartment belonged to same block of apartments owned by
Mr. Kalman Schwitz. I think she was around 88 years old. During the 1940-41
Soviet period she was at the same Yiddish secondary school No.5 on the
Austria Platz - Pitei Gasse. During our 2006 reunion in Czernowitz I met
her in our former neighborhood, on the Martinowicz Gasse, with two-three of
her children.

May she rest in peace and her memory blessed.

          This to let you know that my cousin Edith Rones Huberman
passed away a few days ago.
           She was a "genuine" Czernowitzer and a Transnistria survivor.
          She was also a first cousin of Paul Celan and Selma
Meerbaum-Eisinger.
               Czernowitz 1924-Tel Aviv 2013.
