There is a great deal of bitterness regarding their refusal. Jacob
Drucker's daughter is not likely to donate anything to Yad Vashem. Sylvie
will be visiting with her soon, and hopefully will learn more at that
time. Perhaps she will see the value of donating the maps and lists to
another organization.
I'd also like to clarify the statement that Yad Vashem "refused the
Drucker documents". Actually, in the end, they retained about 60 pages of
documents. Mr. Drucker's daughter says there are many more. She's had
them for years and only discovered recently that there were many people
now interested in these documents. Again - Sylvie's visit with her will
be a key to clarifying where we can go from here.
