It is my painful duty to convey you the sad news of the death of Ria Gold (Meerbaum), Gabriele Weissmann's beloved mother and sophisticated and winsome Grande Dame from Czernowitz. Gabriele, please accept our sincere and heartfelt sympathy in your sorrow at the loss of your mother.
