First it was the Lemberger Weg - the way to Lviv- it still is.
Then they built the railway and the name was:
Bahnhofstrasse.
Then the Rumanians came and it became Bratianu :
Strada Bratianugasse.
Then the Soviets came and made it Voksala:
Ulitza Voksalagasse.
Then it was Bratianu once more.
Then once more Voksala.
Then Gagarin the cosmonaut died and it became
Ulitza Gagarina
And now:
Vulitza Gagarina
Never Gagarinstrasse - no German speakers around.
