Our properties were not necessarily abandoned.
My grandparents' property was confiscated by the Soviets in 1940,
then confiscated by the Romanians in 1941, then re-confiscated by
the Soviets in 1944.
Legally I own half of it. I have all the papers too.
Luckily I have better things to do than file law suits.
