Fred,

I agree with some of what you wrote, but I very much object
to one of your assertions;

The two organizations, ASF Germany and SVIT Ukraine,
both of which have brought volunteers to Chernivtsi to work
on clearing the cemetery of invasive vegetation, most certainly
do not do so, as tokens of charity. These are truly well intentioned
organizations and the volunteers, work very hard and devotedly,
even though they are under no moral obligation to do so.
I have met them, I know them and value and esteem them.
We should not be unjust, nor ungrateful nor deny
that good people do exist.
