For those interested in the very controversial but fascinating Rabbi Jacob
Emdin, his autobiography written in the mid 1700s has recently been
translated. here is the link

Rabbi Emdin had 3 wives and fathered 21 children. Unfortunately very few
lived to adulthood. I have done a lot of research into the family and would
love to learn how the Jawitzs fit in.
