I will not be in Bloomington, but I plan to be at the International
Association of Yiddish Clubs Conference in Pittsburg in April
(http://www.derbay.org/pittsburgh/schedule.htm), which as usually will
feature several speakers with Czernowitz roots. The plenary talk will
be given by Czernowitz-born Harvard professor Ruth Wisse, another
presenter is the deputy editor of Forverts, Dr Itzik Gottesman, a
second generation Czernowitzer. The conference will also have a rich
entertainment program, for everybody who loves Yiddish it is a must
event.
