Thanks a lot for the picture of Abeles family..
It brought me back in my teenage years...
The Abeles family had a shop on the next corner to our house, on the corner
of Dreifaltigkeits-gasse/Franzensgasse, a big alimentary-shop,
like a small supermarket, so I knew very well Ms.Abeles. I did not know her
daughter Alma, but the son, Burschi was a good friend, one or
two years older than me, but he was in our dancing school Boris and we met
in all the parties of the Zionists students associations. After the war we
met at Duesseldorf at a Czernowitz reunion, organized by Dr.Guido Hornstein,
at the Jewish Community Center. the end of 1980.
Later I heard that Alma had an accident, at her very hot shower..but
survived.
I would like to have a mail from the granddaughter of Ms.Abeles, can you
make the contact??Thanks

daughter, Ruth Wekstein (Weiner) from Israel, got in touch with me and so
