About "who wants to go to Chernivtsi?"
On all my recent trips to Czernowitz I have met both foreign tourists
as well as Ukrainian ones. People who know about- and are interested
in Paul Celan, Rose Auslander and other Famous Czernowitzers
come to visit and see the city. Ocasionaly I meet academicians
who are invited to give seminars at the university and Ukrainians
from the eastern part of the Ukraine come to see the city, which
still retains
the buildings, statues and parks of the Austrian period.
