Dear Edward,

Did you receive the personal email I sent several weeks ago? I only
write via the Czernowitz-Listserve in case it landed in your
junk-mail. I am currently in Romania on an archival project, but was
in Chisinau the last 6 months and also visited Lipcani recently. My
partner is still in Chisinau and works closely with the Jewish
community, we speak Romanian and Yiddish but not Russian (he also
speaks some Hebrew). If we can help in some way with your upcoming
trip, please contact me personally.

Best wishes,

Julie
