George...

I think you would love to learn that Sidi Kassner, Dr. Salomon Kassner's daughter-in-law, is currently living in Israel (see Cc). Sidi released her memories "From Czernowitz Deported to Siberia (Siberian Memories)", [online and in English!] available at our ehpes.com Blog:

http://ehpes.com/blog1/2013/01/24/sidi-kassner-from-czernowitz-deported-to-siberia/

I took this opportunity, to update our initial posting by adding Dr. Salomon Kassner's book "Die Juden in der Bukowina" from the year 1917 to the above mentioned posting. This book is now online available too, as a service to our members and by courtesy of the University Library in Frankfurt am Main.

Please feel free to contact Sidi directly and enjoy our posting!
