Forgiveness:
Steinbarg has a fable : The Lion and the mouse (or similar)
where a mouse being magnanimous forgives the Lion all its sins.
The morale of the story is:
Only the one who can punish has the right to forgive !

I very much agree with Lilian; I will never forgive the perpetrators
of the holocaust. How could I? But I also will not blame
their children and grandchildren, unless they deny or exonerate
the evil their ancestors perpetrated.
