RE: [Cz-L] The Lost Synagogues of Czernowitz

Quite possibly so, except for the fact that pre WWII reformed Jews in Western Europe were more like modern orthodox today minus the yarmulkes and the hats. They kept kosher, did not work on Shabbat and did not really drive on Shabbat.
