Well,Hardy, there is one thing we did that probably makes some of today's
"Ultraorthodox" do what in Czernowitz was called "platzing"....we had a
female ruler,a real Jewish Princess who became Queen Salome Alexandra aka
Shlomzion Hamalka. She ruled from 76-67 BCE,and it was she who introduced
the Ketubbah.Historically this was of major importance, with clauses
protecting women's rights...and this would develop into the principle of
alimony!!And by the way..._at_8 centuries earlier we had Queen Athalia too.

1. Spring holiday - in the Southern hemisphere it is an autumn holiday.
Unless you also believe the earth is flat.
2. When Jews come together they dont talk about freedom and slavery :
They talk money and Czernowitz. They dont sing . Caruso sang.
3. We didn't achieve anything thousand of years ago..
except religions , prophets and Messias and bloody religious disputes.
4. If the Pesach narrative was made as an incentive for women to clean
their houses - it was clever thinking.
 5. The Bible is still the best story ever told.
