Both
photos are from Czernowitz. My mother send this photo to my
will-be-father . On the verso is written in Romanian language addressed
to Mr. Isac Friedman, Borouti.with her signature. The story is as follows: In Borouti were white beet planatations and the Friedmans were dealing or selling those beets to a sugar factory in Snyatin. In this factory worked my grandfather, Joel Kuperman and two sons, Moisei and Elek. The interesting thing is that it was a "love afair" between Genia and Itzic that lasted all their life. |

the verso , written in German; "Eine kleine Erinnerung von 8 September
1930 in Czernowitz............Freund mit meiner Gisea.
Genia" Gisea lived in Afridar in Israel. |
