Betty Friedan wrote a book on aging that might be of interest. It's called
The Fountain of Age and it speaks well of the fruition of life that can go
hand in hand with aging . . . also some developmental psychologists, Robert
Kegan for example, write compellingly about the stages of growth that can
accompany aging.

Someone else wrote me that it was made with Strudel dough and filled with
kasha and fried onion. I think that my mother made it with strudel dough,
fried onion and left-over cooked beef.
As to age: age itself is not a particularly interesting subject,
but how to handle aging is. Thinking positively, certainly helps.
Let us all be like good wine and get better and better as we age.
Be well and enjoy,
Mimi
