Dear Fellow Members,

My grandfather (deceased) was born in Czernowitz about
1883 and moved to the US when he was about 18 years
old, without his parents. I would be most appreciative
if you have any information which may be helpful in my
search to know more about my ancestry. My
grandfather's name was Sam Berg, however his father's
last name was ROSENZWEIG and his mother's last name
was BURKE (which was unfortunately written down by
U.S. immigration officials as "Berg"). I have not been
successful in discovering their first names.
