My wife was born in Zalischyky when it was still in Poland, i.e.
between the two
wars. Now she and I, and two cousins in Israel whose family comes
 from this same
shtel, are planning a trip there next spring. The town is near the
larger city of
Chernivtsi, where we will probably stay overnight, making day trips
to Zalischky.
We will want to hire a guide-translator-driver in Ch. to take us to
Zal. for two or
three days in a row. Has anyone been in either of these places lately
and can recommend some contacts?
