  The Elisabeth order is not just a cross but a special cross:

The cross on the grave is not this one.
  Having a cross on the top of the stone is a kind of declaration:
  " Look well all you folks ,here lies a christian " born or converted.
    A courageos woman this Pepi.
      I admire her more and more.
       What is her Czernowitz connection ?
