Dear Czernowitzer,
maybe some of you remember:
in her only saved and last letter from detention camp Michailowka Selma Meerbaum spoke to her friend Renée Abramovicz about a "Familie Gelber". Obviously she does not want to worry them and so Renée should not write but that Selma and her parents stayed there.
Do you have an idea which "Familie Gelber" she could have meant?
The Czernowitz' address books tell me that her aunt Blanca Schrager lived in Enzenberger Hauptstraße 42 then. A Gelber family ("Alter Smil Gelber) lived in Enenberger Hauptstraße 45. Maybe there is a relation?
Thank you, Marion
