Hi Bruce.
This stairway is at the strand on the Prut , named "Gaensehaeufel"
I have also a photo like this, with friends in 1934...it was a very nice
place, with lawn and garderobe-cabines, "Kiosks" with soda-water and
"Limonade", sandboxes for little children and some swings for teenager..and
the water of the Pruth was fine to swim on the opposite part, a sandy soft
one, named Africa, with sand a some bushes, ideal for young lovers...
The persons on the photo I do not know...
