Thank you very much Jerome. Some of my questions were answered in Siddi's
book.

Now I know how the men were separated from their families.

I can also imagine how the surviving members of my family felt when they
finally returned to Cz. in 1948 and realised that their loved ones perished
and their property was occupied by someone else.

I can also admire their resilience and their unbelievable ability to start
all over again, first in Soviet Cz and, then, in 1974 in Israel.
