[Cz-L] The Windbeutel family

Hello again Czernowitzers,

As some of you may recall, I have been searching for information
regarding the family Lebzelter of Waschkoutz. My recent trip to the
archives in Czernowitz was successful in that I finally determined the
maiden name of the mother who was a Czernowitzer : Anna (or Chane)
Windbeutel (born c. 1890).
Her parents are listed as Berish Baruch Windbeutel and Henie
Windbeutel of Czernowitz.

Aside from wondering whether there were many jokes made at the sweet
wedding (1911) of a Lebzelter to a Windbeutel, I am hoping perhaps one
of you will recall the Windbeutels of Czernowitz. It was not a common
name and the 1909 address book lists just one: Bernard (conceivably
his Germanized name) Windbeutel - a tailor with a shop at Herrengasse
15 and residence at Feldgasse 2. Perhaps he was still around when you
were children? Does anyone remember hearing of this family or even
know of pictures of the tailor shop?
