Dear all, the Hoffmann Gymnasium photo in the YIVO Encyclopedia article is of my mother's class. She, Lotte Gottfried, is sitting on the floor, second from right. I recently had a lovely email from Irene Slabij whose mother Olha Ostaficiuc was a classmate and Irene found her in some of the photos my mother donated to the Holocaust museum. The graduated from the Hoffmann Gymnasium in 1936.
