No matter how much it hurts to remember and write about the Holocaust,
many of us feel compelled to do so, partially because we insist on
keeping
the record straight and partially because, no matter how much we think,
read and talk about it, we have not come to terms with it.

I realize that the correspondence about this subject has gone on for
a long time and is too painful for some.
I will write no more about this to the list. Instead I will write
individually to those who write to me.
