Dear Merle, dear Jerome,

yes, you are right, I'm a very special person. But you, Merle, are a very special person as well; and you, Jerome, too. Like everybody else, all of us are unique and special. This is why all of us should take care of each other.

This is nothing I discovered, this thought is not even new. It is two and a half thousand years old. The ancient Greeks discovered the individual and logic and this dicovery was enriched by Jewish values. This is the base of the civilization we share; our brains are Greek and our hearts are Jewish. If we loose one of this roots we are lost. A lesson from history.

There is something I would like to add: I love your company. The Czernowitzers as a community and every individual enriched my life. I feel very comfortable with you.

Hugs
Christian
