[Cz-L] Zastawna

Hello all,

first of all, thank you to Oren for the link to the article about Zastawna.

I do not read Hebrew but with google translate managed to get the main idea - and find some of my relatives mentioned in the article!
I hope you will excuse my excitement, there are so few sources from Zastawna that it is next to a small miracle to find something at all - let alone something about one's own relatives!

My great-great-grandfather, Dr. Moritz Neumann is mentioned, as is my great-grandfather, Abraham Tamler and his younger son, Edi, who was in the Betar and immigrated (illegally) to Palestine in 1939 - long time ago I wrote to the list asking if anybody had ever heard about them ... And the picture mentions a Hugo Neumann, who might also be one of "my" Neumanns!
I would be forever grateful for a decent (non google :-)) translation!

And Ervin - as well as anyone else out there interested in this small place - I would be happy to join forces to try to find out if there are any more traces about Zastawna out there somewhere. The cemetery is no more - but I am still hoping that we might still find some registers ...

Is there any chance to find out if the author of this article still lives and if yes, where to find him?
