RE: [Cz-L] For all readers

Dear friends,
I read Hardy's reaction to all the requests from our List members to come
back and continue posting on our Cz. list website. His response is
unequivocally clear. I therefore think that the time has come to stop the
begging campaign with all those flattering texts. He insists to keep his
own list and nothing is going to convince him to change his mind. So, let
him do whatever he wants to do. I asked him to remove my name and e-mail
address from his personal mailing list.

I second Shlomo (couldn't have said it better myself).
I did grow up in this beautiful city and have all the mixed feelings about
life there as most of the post-WWII generation, who loved it, but couldn't
wait to get out - first to college and then to Israel.
Your posts, always informative, mixed with the "one and only"
Czernowitzer/Galicianer humor, brought back to life the real flavor of
Czernowitz. Not to mention your literary talent.
You are not a jester. You are the rare spice, that makes a "balabotish "
dish Gourmet.
