Dear Merle, your postmaster send me back my last mail to you, it was
undeliverable...it was enqueued
I wrote the name: Oster-Torte, Easter Cake.
For the Schmettentorte, they don't need more than 5 -7 minutes, they are
thin and get very quick brown,do not let them get brown...
Temperature 150 degree.for most cakes the best temperature is 150 degree.
Mariannes mother, Lotte, was my best friend for 90 years...her mother was a
wonderful cook, almost every day we were together , when I came in the
kitchen and Mariannes grandmother was mixing a crème, I asked..may I try
it...and after years, when I met Lotte she asked me...may I try it? old
memories...regards
Hedwig

Dear Hedwig,

What are these cakes named?

And at what temperature should they be baked
and for how long?

Warm wishes, Hag Sameach.

Merle
