Hi all,
I found the recipe. It is called Jungfrauentorte but a subtitle in brackets
says Traunkirchner Torte.
I googled the second one and indeed this is more like my recipe:

My quantities are somewhat different:
For the 4 layers -
300 g flour
200 g butter
80 g sugar
2 egg yolks
A pinch of salt
For the filling:
120 g egg whites (from 4 big eggs)
80-100 g sugar
250-300 g apricot jam
The "how to" is well described at the link above. The filling needs a lot of
whisking to make it smooth and thick.
