Pictures from VA7VV June 2004

Six meter beam and centre of 80m Zepp on left tower.
Butternut hf-6v on right tower. Two meter and 440 yagis pointed at mountain top
packet repeaters (line of site from the back deck).

Another view of the antenna systems. There's a 440 vertical made
from an electrical box on the right side of the left tower.

General view of the station. Old p-100 computer just at far
left. Astron power supplies sitting atop an old Hallicrafters (HT-41) linear to the left
of the computer. Next, two bugs on the bottom, a SGC dsp speaker, mfj super dsp,
mfg keyer and another bug on top. Moving to the right: vibroplex single paddle
sits next to an R-71a general purpose receiver. Above that, Yaesu FT-920 used
mostly for six meters, and above that the Ten-Tec Jupiter, which is used for CW.
Slightly to the right and in front of the R-71a is an old heathkit keyboard used
for chasing dx. On the right, speaker, mfj noise canceller and power/swr meter.
Bottom right is rotator control.

This is a screenshot of the N4PY software for the Jupiter. It
is, in a word superb. I never operate without it anymore. Highly recommended!

This is what sends the stuff.... left: 1927 vibroplex lightning
set up for slow speed -- dusty but fully restored; a beautiful bug bought on
eBay for $75 bucks. To the right a 50's vibroplex blue racer -- my favourite.
