TO THE BEST OF MY RECOLECTION THERE WERE 3 MAJOR KNITTING FACTORIES IN
CZERNOWITZ ,TRICOTANIA ,TRINACO AND HERCULES. TRICOTANIA WAS LOCATED NORD
EAST FROM THE CENTER OF THE CITY.CORNEL DUMITRESCU WAS THE MANAGER OF
TRICOTANIA DURING THE WAR YEARS.HE IS COMPARED TO SCHINDLER. HE SAVED
HUNDREDS OF JEWS WITH THEIR FAMILY FROM DEPORTATION BY GIVEN THEM EMPLOIMENT
IN THE FACTORY.
