Dear Czernowitzers,

At this time, 13 members of this list have agreed to contribute material
to the proposed Czernowitz book. Initially, I thought that there would have
to be 20 contributors and I still wish that more Czernowitzers would
consider participating, but I now think that even 13 is a sufficient
numberwith which to start this project.

To all of you who have agreed to contribute to the book and to any who may
still want to join in this venture:

Please answer this set of questions:

1. Your name and email address.

2. Describe the material you intend to contribute:
   a) reminiscences______________
   b) essays ______________
   c) letters ______________
   d) photographs ______________
   e) documents ______________

3. The language(s) in which it is written

4. Estimate as closely as you can, the total number of pages
   you wish to contribute.

Please send me the answers to these questions by January 5th 2008.

So as not to bore those of you who are not interested,
in the future, I will write on this subject, only to those
who have agreed to participate in this project.

To be sure that I have the correct addresses and have not missed anyone,
who has written me that they would like to participate, I'll send another
E-mail message to all participants today. If you do not get this e-mail
from me, please write me and I will correct my mistake.
