I just wrote a reply to Lucca about the Hackens. In Czernowitz he was MUNIU,
Munio somewhat italianate, followed here in the US. After Poughkeepsie, he
worked in a senior position (I think director) at the Rockland State
Psychiatric Hospital, in Orangeburg NY, and after his retirement , upon my
suggestion, they moved to the buiding I live in. Vera died earlier, Muniu lived here
for a few more years, and when he became too frail, moved to a home in Wayne
NJ, where he died. Their son George, is quite reluctant to answer any querries
about his parents.
There is a fellow in Berlin, who wrote a booklet about Vera Hacken, I sent
him some photographs with them. He is Ottmar Andree, Deutschtaler Str. 138a,

Dr. Mendel Wiesenthal's daughter, Liane, lives in Paris France, here married
name is Copelman.
