And as for withdrawing and selling: he probably hopes to get a better
price. As a rule, auction starting prices are a good bit lower than "buy
it now" prices. In the latter, case, one pays more for the certainty
that one can obtain the item,

If the dealer really wants to sell and you really want to buy, you
should ask him to make them available through "buy it now, " and then
you can pay securely via PayPal: it's safe, and the dealer never sees
your full credit card info (and you can use a credit card to pay via
PayPal even if you yourself do not have a separate PayPal account.
